Leftover 10 series FRS. Great deal and a very fun car so far.

The most important question:
Does the badge thing light up and such?

Congratufreakinlations! I think that series and its lighted up badge is worth the 25K price alone.
Talking about the badge, con you post a photo of it light

It does now, at least until I can figure out how to disconnect it! They actually included a toggle switch for the cheesy dash backlight.

You really want to see it? It does come with the schematic so you know what to disconnect. The 10 series does come with auto climate, keyless entry/start, touch screen, and a few other actually useful features.

10 series MSRP is around $28k. They have a $2000 incentive and about $1000 markeup, so figure $25k easy. Maybe less if you find a dealer that has one that needs to be gone. This is for a manual. I added the TRD exhaust and intake for about $1000. They have a great lease deal on leftover 2013s too.

My buddy said he preferred the Scion over the BRZ because you could finance the exhaust. How do you like it?

This is actually the most useful feature

Hey, I've got one of those!
Do yourself a favor, open the glove box and remove the cap from the auxiliary 12V socket in there. Then find the "noise port" in the passenger foot well, and insert the cap into it.
That frikken noise port gets old fast.
Otherwise, enjoy. Don't miss these tips , and learn the pedal dance.

Well, it is a very very good car. You have to drive it a few miles to figure it out though. You hear about the balance and poise, and I believed it but now that I have driven it some 500 miles I am truly impressed. I've had very powerful cars and very fast cars, and great handling cars - I currently have an AP1 S2000 in the fleet. This car is near the top in overall fun and driving satisfaction. When I first drove it I thought it was underpowered. But after some time to calibrate myself, I truly believe it has enough power, and I understand the balance that is so touted. If you get a chance to drive one do it, and put a few miles on to learn the car.
The TRD exhaust sounds good, but there is a small amount of drone at certain RPMs. Not bad enough to give up the sound though. I can't comment on the TRD intake since I never drove it with the stock intake.

I love "underpowered" cars because you get to hoon them all the time.

Yes true, you can have it on the carpet a lot and it feels good, sounds good, and is a lot of fun. Pedal placement is perfect, heel and toe shifting is super easy.

Pics of the badges and dash lighting up? I know it's so freaking cheesy but I really wanted one for all the glowy stuff and cool paint.

Here is a video of the dash. There is a toggle switch for this, and it only come on when you open a door. You can't see it unless it is very dark.

Thanks. The 10 part puts it over on the cheesy side I think.

Cool cars. If the base model MSRP would have come in at around $20k instead of $25k, there is a very reasonable chance I would have bought one. But instead I went the 996 and AE86 route.
